Guided tours of the Musikverein
One of the most beautiful concert halls in the world, one of the most magnificent buildings of Vienna’s Ringstrasse era. Of course, the best way to get to know the Musikverein is to attend a concert. But the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien also opens its prestigious building for tours.

General Information
Since the Musikverein is not a museum but a living concert venue, it can happen that tours have to be postponed or cancelled due to rehearsals or technical alterations. We would appreciate your understanding about this. Please note that guided tours are not available on Sundays and public holidays.
English and German
To participate in the tour, we advise visitors to have basic knowledge of the tour’s language. Special tours for groups can also be organised in other languages. During the public tour, translation into different languages is not possible.
Duration
The tour lasts about 45 minutes.
