Promote musical development
2023/24 | 2024/25
Kindergarten groups can choose from a comprehensive concert program at the Musikverein. Three series, each with different artists, concepts and thematic areas, introduce children playfully to the world of music. Playing along, dancing and singing along have a high priority in all concerts because musical development goes hand in hand with doing one’s own thing.

Topolina
Alberto and the musical mouse Topolina experience many small musical adventures in the colourful mouse’s everyday life. The Italian mouse girl especially likes to make music, dance, and sing, especially if she is actively supported by the musicians and you, dear children! A production of the Musikverein Wien.

Sebastian und das Tontelefon
Sound researcher Sebastian and his friend Dr Willy Witzwurm curiously embark on musical journeys of discovery. The tuning fork, the legendary sound telephone, is a great help to them – because singing is the best way to make friends and immerse yourself in new worlds of sound. A production of the Musikverein Wien.

“Sebastian and the Sound Telephone” is nominated for the STELLA*23 in the “Outstanding Music” category. The STELLA Performing Arts Prize is the first nationwide prize for outstanding achievements in theatre for young audiences and has been awarded annually in Austria since 2007.

Agathes Wunderkoffer
Agathe is fascinated by the glittering stars in the sky, but they seem unreachable. So be it! If we can’t go to the stars, we should bring them down to us – with music. Agathe has the magic suitcase with her once again, so we will be amazed once more by what is hidden inside. A production of the Musikverein Wien.
